Gestern Abend kam es zu einer Reihe von Abstürzen der Gamingserver, diese konnten sich daraufhin nicht erneut ins EA-Netzwerk einloggen. Mit dem Neustart der EA-Server soll dieses Problem behoben werden.
EA is about to restart its servers, this will affect BFBC2 PC ONLY and is to sort ~3,000 game servers that will not restart properly.
Sorry for the short notice but we feel the number of game servers affected requires a restart sooner rather than later.
This isn’t the game server, this is their GUID’s getting “stuck” at EA which means they can’t come back online again. This is usually hidden with Tuesday maintenance but last night we had some server issues which caused a number of game servers to lose connection with EA and they couldnt come back online again when the connection was re-established.
We are working on better solutions to free “stuck” GUID’s to prevent having to restart all EA servers but a time scale isn’t available at this time.
